La
Casita Bilingue Montessori was founded in 1985 with the clear goal of offering a unique Montessori and
Bilingual program for kids ages 2.7 to 6 years. La Casita started as a
dream for Zamahara Berkov-Rojas who has worked as teacher for many years
before, and noticed the need for a Bilingual pre-school that could follow
–at the same time- a Montessori philosophy. Her dream came true and La Casita
started with a few families. Since then, it has been in three locations having found a
place in Old Town Pinole.
